LAY SUMMARY Military service can affect the psychological health and well-being of ex-service members their families. Most research prioritizes active duty families or Veterans, with spouses/intimate partners adult children Veterans often overlooked. This study reviewed all previous on Veteran within Five Eyes alliance countries Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, States. It found had higher rates anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) compared to national were more likely feel distress when partner mental issues.
